In November, members of Celestial Green Ventures traveled to the Amazonas State, in Brazil, to discuss updates on the Trocano Araretama Conservation Project.
Due to weather conditions (it is the beginning of the rainy reason), the meetings were held in the capital of the State, Manaus. On the occasion, CGV met representatives of the Municipality of Borba, where the project is located.
One of the meetings was with the Mayor of Borba, José Maria da Silva Maia, known as “Baía”, and Borba’s Lawyer, Fábio Castello Branco. Two members of Instituto Amazônia Livre (IAL), CGV´s partner in Brazil, were also present at the occasion.
The meeting was held at a local restaurant and the participants talked about the plans of the project for next year, and also ideas to strengthen the partnership between the parties.
